SOUTH EAST ASIA GAMES 25 MAY SINGAPORE

This year, as part of our preparation for The All China Games in Beijing on Saturday June 15, the club will be entering Men’s and Ladies’ teams in the South East Asia Games which are being held in Singapore on May 25.  Flights to Singapore currently cost c. 3,300 rmb (see Ctrip) and there will be various budget hostel accommodation options in the range of 140-160 rmb per person per night available.  The official Games Hotel will cost c.1,300 rmb per night for a twin room catering for 2 (web + b’fast incl).  There is also a small tournament registration fee payable.  In the first instance and to secure your place, please register your interest asap with Brian Murphy at briangmurphy@gmail.com.       

JINQIAO 8K SUNDAY 14 APRIL                                                                 

Every year club members take part along with 7,000 others of various fitness standards!  It will be a fun run for us and then we’ll retire for some lunch to The Brew at the Kerry Hotel – it’s sponsoring us and will provide a free running T-shirt, 50 rmb off entry fee and a free drink.  Names and 100 rmb to Brian Murray at briwins@msn.com  asap please.  Entry deadline is 31 March.
