A congratulations to the Shanghai GAA women’s team who came second in the Cup final at the Southeast Asia Games.
After losing their first round robin game to KL in the morning, they managed to fight their way back during the day to land a place in the grand final, fending off three strong Singapore teams along the way. The women fought hard in the final but lost by a goal to a determined Thailand side.
With a number of injuries, sunburn, and some good old fashioned blood, sweat, and tears, the women have returned to Shanghai now looking towards the All China Games with ambitions of victory!
A big shout-out to Evan who snapped her achilles after the first game. We wish you a speedy recovery!
