The Asia Games in KL are just 57 days away (12 and 13 October) and you should book your flights and hotel without delay as prices will start climbing soon.
The official Games Hotel is the Istana and to book visit http://www.hotelistana.com.my/aboutus and use the code ‘gaelic’ in the access code field to activate the special deal available of 340 MYR (c. 680 rmb) pp per night inclusive of all taxes and charges and to include two breakfasts and free Wi-fi. The opening (evening of Friday 11 Oct) and closing(evening of Sunday 13 Oct) ceremonies will be held at the Istana. The organisers advise that if you do not avail of the special rate immediately there is no guarantee the hotel will keep it available.

Return flights for KL are currently available for around 1600 rmb all-in with AirAsia (special price but times are awkward) and are around 2900 rmb on ctrip.
