This Thursday and next Thursday there will be a 1 hour fitness session at 7pm also in Luwan Stadium.

This weekend training has been moved to Sunday at 3pm at the the SRFC as Saturday is not available there.  The bus will depart the Camel Puxi at 2 pm and leave the SRFC at 6pm.

SE ASIA GAMES REPORT

Congratulations to our fantastic Ladies team who won the Plate Final playing some very attractive football – namely Captain Eithne O’Neill, Jussara Bierman, Grace McNamara, Louise and Emma Byrne, Michelle Surlis and with Jade of Suzhou and Joan of Seoul helping out! Sarah Davis was also there to shout encouragement.

Well played also to Peter Mooney, Davey Hayes, Brian Murphy, Adrian Donoghue and Peter Sweeney who played on the runners up team in the Men’s Plate.

 
IRELAND V AUSTRALIA INTERNATIONAL RULES GAME – FRIDAY 31 MAY AT CENTURY PARK SOCCER GROUNDS

This Friday a Shanghai Gaelic team, representing Ireland, takes on the Shanghai Tigers representing Australia in an international rules game – contact Peter Mooney, mooneypeter@hotmail.com. There will also be a game between two Shanghai Gaelic Ladies’ teams (contact Sarah Austin, sarahmdavis9@gmail.com). Doors open at 6.30pm with the big game scheduled for an 8 pm start. Entrance is 100 rmb and includes 1 free drink and some BBQ food. The after match party is at The Brew Bar, Kerry Hotel, from 10 pm with happy hour prices on all beer and wine drinks as well as live entertainment. All club members are urged to support our lads and lassies and of course Ireland! See the attached poster for full details.
