HANGZHOU TRIP CANCELLED 3 – 5 MAY
The trip will not take place this coming weekend due to low numbers and the unavailability of those in Hangzhou. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Consequently training will take place as usual on Saturday at SRFC 1 – 3 pm.
After an enjoyable evening, this event raised 7550 RMB for the club. CLUB ‘SUPERSTARS’ COMPETITION – SUNDAY 19 MAY CENTURY PARK PUDONG
To help our fitness, we’re introducing a competitive element and hosting our own ‘Superstars’ event (ask Davey Hayes about the original TV Series in the 70’s and 80’s). Our event features fun for all, including a 5 km run round Century Park, push-ups, plank, speed and agility test and weight loss (talk to Sarah Austin about ‘weigh-in’). Our sessions, which take place before adult training at SRFC, have been underway for some weeks now and last Saturday saw our biggest turnout yet with 23 children. Sessions are free and all children age 5 -12 welcome. Please spread the word. We have also started coaching 30 children at BISS School Pudong and at SUIS Puxi.
