Le Cheile Quiz Night

We had a great turnout at the last quiz and as usual all funds will go
to the Starfish Foundation.  Carlsberg and wine will be available for
only 25rmb per glass.  Hope to see you there.

The Games

A big thank you to everyone involved in helping make the All-China Games a fantastic success!It wouldn’t have happened without the hard work and determination of a few key people, and everyone else pitching in and playing their part. Thank you!

And CONGRATULATIONS! to the Shanghai Men’s A & Women’s A teams who won their respective Cups. A first win for a while for the lads, and a 3rd in a row for the girls – WELL DONE!

As we unwind after the China Games, there will be NO training sessions for a couple of weeks. An announcement on when we resume training will be made in the near future. Watch this space…

The All-China Games!

The All-China Games kicks off TOMORROW!

- Friday night welcoming event at Tam’s bar, YongFu Lu near FuxingXi Lu, 8pm to 10pm. RMB25 per pint of Carlsberg, some complimentary snack foods too

- Saturday night after party at The Camel, 8pm to 11pm. Happy hour drink menu and buffet food

Fundraiser – Table Quiz

The Shanghai Gaelic Football Club Saints and Sirens in association with The Camel Sports Bar would like to invite you to join us at our first fundraising event of 2011. We will be holding a table quiz on Wednesday 6th April, starting at 7.30pm sharp.

Please let us know ASAP if you wish to attend as tables are limited – shanghaigaelic@gmail.com. Entry is 100RMB per person and includes discounted drinks. There is a cash prize for the winning team as well as tickets on sale for excellent spot prizes.

Thursday Night Cardio Sessions are Back!

Thursday night training resumes tonight! The training committee has been working on a 5 week fitness programme which will improve sharpness, stamina and speed in the run-up to the ACG. Sessions will run from 8-9pm on the running track at Luwan stadium. Bring appropriate footwear.

Saturday training will be from 11-1pm this week. We have the posts in place, and the pitch marked-up, so will make the most of it with plenty of much-needed match practice! The bus will leave the camel at 10am SHARP. Be there or be square. (Or be in bed… NO! be there!)

Friendly with Suzhou on Saturday

This Saturday we will have challenge games vs Suzhou. The pitch is booked for 2 hours of match practice and the bus will leave The Camel at 1.30pm sharp! Email Ben Somner before lunchtime Friday to confirm your availability. (bwksomner@gmail.com)

St Patrick’s Day Celebrations

There will be NO TRAINING this Saturday, March 12th, because of the Feile Shanghai event.
